Konica Minolta embedded application shows “Authentication Failure” when selecting device functions After successfully logging into a Konica Minolta device, when I try to access ‘Device Functions’, I get an Authentication Failure message. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
If you’re using Konica Minolta i-series devices with firmware GC2-RF, try these settings: Turn off the Time adjustment:
Utility > Administrator > Maintenance > Date/Time Setting > Time Adjustment Setting Add the Web Browser button to the display:
Utility > Administrator - System Settings > Main Menu Default (Classic Style) > Not Set >Function Enable JavaScript in the Web Browser settings:
Web Browser button > Menu > Settings > Machine Data 1 Clear the External Application Connection:
Utility > Administrator > Network > OpenAPI Setting > OpenAPI Setting > External Application Connection: Set to NO. Reboot the machine. Change the setting back to YES. If you’re still having problems, contact your PaperCut Partner for more help.
