The Print Archiving option available within PaperCut NG & MF empowers approved administrators to browse and review the content of print activity within their environment. Alongside the powerful reporting features built into PaperCut NG/MF, this gives administrators a whole host of additional benefits including the ability to view past print jobs directly from the PaperCut NG/MF administrator web interface.
However, did you know that only the jobs that are actually printed out are archived?
That’s where our the PaperCut NG/MF LPD service comes in. Usually used to enable tracking of print jobs from disparate systems such as mainframes and AS 400s, the PaperCut NG/MF LPD service can also offer the ability to archive all print jobs as they arrive at the print server, making sure that PaperCut administrators can get a view of everything printed by their users, including jobs that are deleted at the device or are removed after reaching the system job expiry time.
