Wanting to make the switch from PaperCut’s old iOS Printing feature to PaperCut Mobility Print?
We definitely recommend using Mobility Print, as it works with more devices than just iOS, and it’s easier to set up in complex networks. Once you install Mobility Print on your print server you can easily share your print queues with iOS devices (as well as other supported devices like Android, ChromeOS, Windows, and macOS). Plus Mobility Print now runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux print servers!
To migrate from PaperCut iOS Print to PaperCut Mobility Print: On the macOS PaperCut server open Terminal. Navigate to this directory: /Applications/PaperCut [NG or MF]/providers/iosprint/mac/ Run ./disable-iosprint.command. Follow the steps to install Mobility Print and share out your printers, as described in the Mobility Print Help Center.
