If you’re an administrator who needs their shiny new printer to be discovered immediately, a way you can do this is by forcing your Edge Node to discover this printer is to restart the service! (We’re looking to do this in the future from your administrator console, so stay tuned.)
Restarting an Edge Node for Windows Open Task Manager. Go to the Services tab, find PaperCut Hive Edge Node. Click Restart from the context menu. Restarting an Edge Node for Mac Open the Applications folder, and open Terminal. Run the following command in Terminal: sudo /Library/PaperCut\ Hive/pc-edgenode-service stop sudo /Library/PaperCut\ Hive/pc-edgenode-service start Still have questions? Let us know!
