You may see this message when you download and run the PaperCut NG/MF, or Payment Gateway Module installers. This notification is shown by Windows due to PaperCut NG/MF’s recent introduction of a new software signing certificate that has yet to build up trust with Microsoft. This message is not a concern for the PaperCut NG/MF, or Payment Gateway Module installations.
Luckily, the workaround is simple. Click the More info link reveals a new option to Run anyway. We hope to establish a positive reputation quickly and for this message not to appear for installations in the future in Windows.
