This error can be caused by having insufficient memory on the device. e.g. multiple apps are installed on the MFP at the same time.
Info It is recommended for the PaperCut partner to do the steps below, as opposed to the end customer, as the MFP will need to be reconfigured with PaperCut Hive and PaperCut MF.
If your HP OXPd MFP is throwing an error 49.DE.05, please contact your PaperCut partner to follow the steps below:
Uninstall unused apps and try to reproduce the issue. If that doesn’t work then:
Check if the device is running on the latest firmware. If not, then update to the latest available firmware. If it is already running the latest firmware, follow the next steps…
Do a partial clean/reset firmware. Re-install PaperCut Hive. If this doesn’t solve the problem, then your PaperCut partner should log a call with HP Tech Support.
