You can choose to allow users to manage their own card/ID number. Users may then login into the end user web interface and under the Change Details menu item they will see the option Change Card/ID PIN
Once you have enabled the option to Allow users to change their card/ID number it is possible your users would see the following message if they attempt to edit the number too often:
Your ID number has been changed too many times. Please contact your system administrator for assistance.
By default this message will display after the Change Number button has been pressed more than 3 times. If you wish to edit this to be more or less than 3 then:
Login to the system as an administrator (e.g. the built-in admin account). Navigate to the Options section. Click on the Config editor (advanced) link in the Actions list on the left. In the quick find, enter user.can-change-card-id.num-times-per-day and press GO. Edit the Value to the new figure. Last of all, click Update
